Terms of engagement
Last updated 2 August 2026
Scope and price
Each of the three published tiers — One page, Premium website and Signature — has a fixed price and a fixed scope, published on the pricing page. Work beyond that scope is identified during the brief and confirmed in writing, with its own price, before it begins.
Prices are in AED and exclude 5% UAE VAT, which is added at invoicing.
The revision round
Every tier includes one consolidated round of changes, collected as a single set of feedback rather than an open-ended series of requests. Additional rounds are quoted separately once the request is clear.
Timeline
The published 24–48 business hour window begins once the brief is confirmed and any required assets — logo, copy, images, brand details — have been received. Delays in providing assets extend the timeline by the same amount.
Payment
Payment terms are confirmed in writing before work begins on any project. Nothing is charged without that written confirmation.
Ownership
On full payment, ownership of the delivered website — its content and design, excluding third-party assets and the FORTY8 name and mark — transfers to the client.
Cancellation
Either party can cancel an engagement in writing before the build begins. Once work has started, cancellation terms are agreed as part of the written scope for that project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
